After years of experiencing camping, we agree that compact camping is an incresingly popular, inexpensive alternative to tradition camping. Therefore, we are very proud to offer a beautifully and professionally crafted, multi-functional conversion unit. From tear-drop shaped slick edging, a stability mechanism and clever storage compartments – to quality upholstery, our fixed and removable conversion units are designed to suit your everyday kitchen and sleeping camping requirementts.

In Kata we love the great outdoors lifestyle. Whenever we need to recharge our batteries, we pack a car and off we go. Our “Day car” turns into a camper within minutes! Here at KATA we recognise the importance of our getaways and the urge to explore our beautiful country whenever we get a chance. There is so much to explore, so much to see. Do you make installations for all van models? How do I know if mine will work?

Yes, we custom make all models to fit in any Car/SUV/Van. We will work toghether to define the right model for you!

What parts of my van need measuring in order to make sure I get the right layout for me?

Distance between wheelarches is a key measurment to define the right model!

Can you install my fit-out for me?

Yes, we install it and secure it to the vechicle!

Once I put it into my van, is it easy to take out or is this a permanent option?

Our products are modular to put it in and out easily without damaging the vechicle

Can I add to my fit-out by putting in a panel roof or electrics etc.?

Yes, we can do full conversion!

Where do you deliver to, and do you deliver internationally?

We deliver around Australia, International is our next step!

Can we mix and match bench tops and boards?

Yes, you can choose any configuration

How much does the fit-out weigh in total?

Depending on the model! Could vary between 65kg for cars/suv or up to 150kg for vans

Is there a Warranty?

Yes, 6 months, however we will always be there to fix, refresh or upgrade you Kata

Can I add in additional drawers?

Yes, we can custom make any design
