Building a Kata Kit typically takes anywhere from 2 to 6 weeks, depending on the season. Once your order and payment are confirmed, we’ll dive right in and get to work!

Of course, you can! All our standard kits are designed for easy installation and can be effortlessly removed and stored for your next adventure. (We must say, like everything in life, it’s always better with a mate’s helping hand) ;)

It is suitable for all types of vehicles; however, it is the perfect option for smaller vehicles like SUVs. Easy to assemble and disassemble, with all the necessary drawers to store your belongings, stove area extension, and a sliding bed.

Our Vanbox is easily transformed into a cozy queen-sized bed and the great perk is that when is shut it only measures 1300mm, so you’ll be able to use your crew seats and have a lot of free space!

We’re happy to offer the installation of a 4mm strong sound-deadening, heat-insulating mat. Additionally, we use wool insulation to keep you cozy in winter and cool in summer.

Yes, for any Full Conversion, we can install a reverse air conditioner cold/heat.

For flooring options, we’ve got you covered with our top-quality 15mm structural plywood, finished off with a 4mm hybrid flooring.

To create the perfect sleeping area, you can choose between a sofa/single bed or a double bed, both of which come complete with fully lined mattresses.

For our modular components, we opt for 16mm laminated plywood. It’s lightweight yet incredibly sturdy, making it perfect for van conversions. Yes, you can add to your purchase our assembly service. We invite you to visit our workshop at Matraville, Sydney and we’ll be happy to install your Kata Kit for you. The cost for each installation is detailed below.

The cost may fluctuate depending on the specific kit chosen:

• Camperbox 200AUD
• Vanbox 400AUD
• Surfbox 400AUD

Each kit takes its specific installation time, however, it may fluctuate depending on the specifications or customizations. Our general timing is:

• Camperbox 1 1/2 hour.
• Vanbox takes up to 6 hours.
•  Surfbox 6 hours.

Yes, we can deliver fully assembled kits all around Australia, you can pick them up from the closest depot.

At the moment, we are not shipping our kits internationally. However, you can order your DXF blueprints to print/cut with a CNC machine.

Opting for the Depot means your order will be sent to a specific location chosen by the courier. It’s usually a bit cheaper than doorstep delivery, but keep in mind it might have limited pick-up hours.

Now, if you go for Doorstep delivery, your kit will be brought right to your doorstep or wherever you specify. It’s super convenient—you don’t have to worry about picking it up. Just know, that this option tends to be a tad pricier.
